Old Johor Bahru Railway Station
The Old Johor Bahru Railway Station, built in 1930, is the oldest railway station in Johor Bahru. It is historically correct to assume that the first railway in Malaya was built in Johor in 1869. During its early days, the railway was referred to as the Wooden Railway or Keretapi Kayu Johor, as the rails were made from timber. It was also known as Keretapi Asap.
Johor Bahru Central Police Station
The Johor Bahru Central Police Station, built in 1914, is a Colonial Building that served as the third replacement for the original 'Pos Police' on Bukit Polis. It is located along Jalan Sawmill near the Segget River, which was once the center of trade and commerce. The emergence of Secret Societies among the different clans posed a threat to public law and order, leading to the establishment of this police station.

Today, when you walk down Johor Bahru, you can immerse yourself in the heritage and nostalgia by visiting the sites of Capitol Theater, where Chinese movies were once screened.
Jalan Dhoby
By 1900, as the city of Johor Bahru was rapidly developing, numerous business centers and shops, including laundry shops (dhoby), were opened and operated. The laundry business experienced growth due to high demand from the city's residents. However, over time, this business gradually declined due to increasing competition from stores. The concentration of laundry shops between the intersections of Jalan Trus led to the name 'Jalan Dhoby' for this area.

Gurdwara Sahib
In 1916, the Sikhs requested a piece of land from the Johor Police Commissioner to build a Gurdwara Sahib. In 1921, the present site was gazetted as a temple reserve. The land was very muddy and swampy, so the Sikhs filled it up with sand and stones. On this land, they constructed their first Sikh temple.

The Immaculate Church is a Roman Catholic church in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. It is Johor Bahru's oldest church, having been built in 1927 by the late Rev. Fr. C. Saleilles, M. AP. Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim
